Solved Google Earth Problems – Black Screen

When I load Google Earth I get only a black w the places, photos and roads showing… no terrain …. if I transfer to Google Maps everything is fine — I’ve tried most software settings … NO Joy…. Help !

Hardware – HP Envy 17, Windows 8.1, NVIDIA GE Force GT 740, 8G RAM

      Have you checked to verify the version of Google Earth you have is compatible with Windows 8.1?
