I have a Packard Bell imedia 2215 pc.

1. So when powering on pc i get nothing from the keyboard and monitor is just black screen.
2. The fan on the motherboard starts up and the power supply fan also works, i get all the lights on the case okay and the dvd player works also.
NO Beeps
I tried powering up with a different power supply but still keyboard and monitor didn’t work.

  1. You really need to troubleshoot more. If the system didn’t beep when the RAM was removed, I’d say either the CPU or board is bad. If it beeped, the CPU is more than likely OK & the board is *probably* OK.
Is the keyboard USB? If it is, try a PS/2 keyboard. A USB to PS/2 adapter *may* work, but you’d be better off trying a true PS/2 keyboard.

Are you using onboard video or a video card? If the monitor’s connected to a card but onboard is available, remove the card & connect the monitor to the onboard. If it’s already connected to the onboard, try a card.

Also, if you haven’t already done so, unplug the power cord & reset the BIOS using the clear CMOS jumper.
