Does Asus N56V Laptop Have Backlit Keyboard?

Than I went on some forums and somebody there said that there is no that kind of option for my keyboard, but if I press Fn plus F3 or F4 there is brightness configuration logo (which looks like on F3 and F4 on the above picture. What do you think is there problem with connection, should I update system? I am not computer expert so every help is much apriciated.</p><p>Thanks in advance <br></p></td>

  1. I had another look & there are a couple downloads related to the keyboard, I suggest you install both of them. And make sure to reboot afterwards. Just realized I forgot the link in my last response – fixed!

    – ATKACPI driver and hotkey-related utilities
    – ASUS InstantKey Utility
