Hello!
I’ve been trying to find a way to disable ACPI in the BIOS Phoenix SecureCore Setup Utility.
System BIOS version: v0.3204
VGA BIOS version: Poulsko 0016
In the manual that I’ve found here http://www.vistax64.com/attachments… it is said that you have to access the INTEL menu but it isn’t there on my BIOS. I have all the menu tabs except the “Intel” one.
How do I disable ACPI then if I don’t have access to this “Intel” menu?
If you are unable to obtain an updated bios or the latest bios supplied by your vendor is not ACPI compliant, you can turn off ACPI mode during text mode setup. To do this, simply press the F7 key when you are prompted to install storage drivers.
Use command line option noacpi at grub boot.
