I am trying to convert a wireless mouse to a wired one without using its receiver. Was wondering if signals after being received by receiver on wireless mouse are the same as those delivered by USB on wired!

If you somehow miswired the connections (particularly 5V & GND), you could potentially damage the USB port(s), or if bad enough, take out the entire 5V line on the PC—rendering it useless…
As mentioned, concern yourself with something of greater importance; especially if you have a backup mouse and aren’t an electronics technician…
