Battery Not Detect Because Of BIOS ?

  • 0

Hi all! it is me again! I have Dell Inspiron N5110 by running Windows 7 64bits, before my pc installed Windows 8, but about 2 months, it shows a message “No battery is detected”, I try to downgrade to Windows 7,but it still the same. I already install all drivers and wash the contact of battery and motherboard. I try to buy a new battery, but it is the same.

So, if I upgrade My BIOS version A07 to A11 can It fix this problem or not?
Note: My new battery is compatible with my laptop.

  1. You might check this link for several suggestions:

It does seem to sometimes be associated with an OS upgrade or change. That suggests it may be a driver issue.

Possibly your charger is getting weak. There are usually two different types of chargers that will work. The difference between them being the amperage output. I suggest you get a new higher amperage charger.
