I recently did an update on windows 10 ASUS Q502 notebook. The PC rebooted and the Aptio setup utility (bios) came up. The hard drive does not show up under boot options. The PC has been running great with no previous signs of HD issues. The HD is spinning up normally. I try to restore from restore flash it says that my HD is locked??

Restart PC. Hold and press “F2” to enter the BIOS environment.
In the Setup section, check whether the second hard drive is turned off in the system setup. If yes, turn it on.
Reboot PC again.
How to fix “Hard drive not detected” on Windows 10?
Re-enable the missing drive in the Disk Management.
Reconnect the external hard drive.
Format the drive.
Check the status of the hard drive.
Update the driver.
Update Windows.
Reinstall USB controllers to make the second hard drive recognized.
