An Error Ess Is Turned Off………..

i got a message that your ess is turned off please turn it on i use a gigabyte motherboard some one help me to get rid of this and also my sys restarts quite frequently

      Please stop double & triple posting, it’s against forum rules.

      You’ve been told that ESS either relates to your sound card or to “Easy Energy Saver”. I’m sure ESS is explained in your Gigabyte manual. Here’s some info from their site:

      The bottomline is ESS is a software utility that YOU installed. If you don’t want to use it or are having problems with it, simply uninstall it.
