Laptop has two ports, and both are broken. I can visually see that pieces in the ports aren’t where they are supposed to be. Can they be replaced or can the memory card slot be converted to usb somehow?

in modern laptops, most are soldered to the motherboard, but that doesn’t mean they’re not removable. When a port is broken, they won’t fix it for free; they will bill you for the motherboard instead.
They are soldered to the mainboard, very difficult to replace USB Ports, need to replace the mainboard.
