How To Play The Sims 2 Without Cd Or Dvd

I have the sims 2 games, but my brother has broken the disc drive. So when I clicked on the sims 2 icon it says ‘please insert the sims 2 cd/dvd rom’. So now I can’t play my sims 2 games anymore!!!! Is there any way I can play the sims 2 without the disc? PLEASE HELP ME! I LOVE playing The Sims 2.
