How Can I Install Chessmaster 9000 On Windows 7?

ChessMaster 9000 ran successfully on Windows 7, 64 bit machine. Recently it stopped loading. Kept showing …FATAL… error message. Uninstalled. Now it will not re-install. (Running compatability with Windows XP, Service Pack 3). Clicking AutoPlay.exe or Autorun.exe brings up screen with INSTALL and QUIT buttons. Clicking INSTALL does not install the program. Checks show each .exe file to be incompatable. Setup.exe does nothing. Tried other Operating systems for compatability; same results. Tried installing as Administrator; same results. Can someone PLEASE HELP ME?!!

      Install a cleaning program such as CCleaner-Slim – run both the cleaner & registry scanner & remove everything they find, then reboot. Before attempting to reinstall the program, right click on the installer .EXE, select Properties > Compatibility tab, check the box for “run this in compatibility mode for XP SP3”, & click Apply. Then right click on the installer .EXE again & this time select “Run as Administrator”
