I have an acomdata external hard drive and is not showing up on my computer. it was doing great until I downloaded windows 10 on my computer. What happened and how do I fix it.

If the drive still isn’t working, unplug it and try a different USB port. It’s possible the port in question is failing, or just being finicky with your specific drive. If it’s plugged into a USB 3.0 port, try a USB 2.0 port. If it’s plugged into a USB hub, try plugging it directly into the PC instead.
You didn’t list any specs so we have no idea what you’re working with – desktop or laptop? Old or new? Did you check that Win10 was fully compatible with your computer before “upgrading”? It could be a problem with the USB driver.
Did you test the external HDD on any other system to confirm it’s good? Did you try any other USB drives on your computer to confirm that they work properly?
