Amcap Error 80004005

Whenever i open AMcap i receive an error – 80004005 cannot run preview graph. I am trying to connect an astro webcam, no luck yet

    1. I had the same problem. Had to uninstall the software and reinstall. A pin, but it worked for me.

    2. Check if these work for you.

      Method 1: Suggest you to follow the steps under the section ‘If you have problems with your webcam’ from this article ‘Camera app and webcams help’ to see if that helps.

      Method 2: Further, you may also want to follow the steps from this article to see if that makes any difference.

      Method 3: You may also want to reset the Camera app to check if that helps.

      Open the Settings app from Start menu.

      Select the System, navigate to Apps and features section.

      Once there, go to Camera, select ‘Advanced Options’, and choose the Reset option.

      Once this is done, restart the computer and check if that helps with the webcam issue.
