Overclocking I7 4770K Asrock Z97X Fatal1ty

auto 4.2ghz causes bsod so want to go at it manually.

32gb of g.skill 2400mhz

Any step by steps?
Most just say increase multi then up the voltage.
Which voltage etc?

    1. Try 1.3 vcore @ 45 multiplier for 4.5 ghz

      Then do a stress test, i prefer intel burn test (30 loops)
      If no problems arise you can keep increasing the multiplier in steps of 1
      You should be aiming for a max temp of 85 or lower & dont go over 1.4 vcore for haswell

      P.S. You may want to set LLC to 5 or higher for stability
