Hello, i have a gateway all in one model ZX6971-UB31P. As for the info i can find it has the h61 chipset and a 135 w power supply. I used to build all my own computers but have been out of it for awhile. Honestly I love having an all in one with a touch screen, but it’s too slow and i can’t afford a new one right now. I ser that h61 chipset can handle up to the i7 processors, so my question is can i swap in an i5? Im not too familiar with current needs, but im most concerned that the chipset really does support the i5 and that the PS is large enough. Any info would be helpful.

I’d suspect that if you were to reload the OS from OEM media it would return to as new speeds.
