Citizen Printiva 600C Drivers were and are available for Windows98 and NT4.0
Additionally, in the same family was the Printiva 700, often a better driver to print silver & gold on a 600C.
When Citizen ceased supporting this range of printers (also the 1700), drivers were available from ALPS whose MicroDry (MD) 2010 & 4000 Drivers often worked.
These drivers are also digitally signed by Microsoft XP SP3, so you don’t even need to download them if you use Install Printer. These is a Hot Fix too if required. However, ALPS threw the towel in too in 2010.
So, when you have tried all of the above and the paper just feeds straight through minus any print activity whatsoever, what’s left to try?
I am LPT connected to a USB port, but that is not usually a problem.
Should I drag down a Win95 or 98 ‘puter from the attic?
There are loads of con sites but they need to get up earlier. Anyone got a proper source for any suitable driver?
Time for a new printer.
