How To Fix ‘Setup/Uninstall Has Stopped Working

when I try a game , I get an error message that reads:
setup/uninstall has stopped working

A problem caused the program to stop working corectly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

Any help will be completely appericiated.
