One of our users came to me to say that consistently, for the last three or so months, several of our password protected Word docs and Excel workbooks have required her to put in the password twice before they’ll open. I’ve tried ruling out user error like wrong password or double clicking the links or clicking twice when it should be once and I just see nothing that she’s doing incorrectly.
When this first started, we had a large file accidently deleted and pulled back from a system backup. Could this possibly have any bearing on why Access wants the password twice?
