Solved Insert a Picture Into a Protected Word 2010 Form

  • 2

I have produced a document to act as a school report, in a protected form that teachers can complete as required. However I have inserted the picture place holder, but want my users to be able to change the picture, but the box just turns blue and will not insert the picture.
How can I enable the teachers to select a picture (eg child’s photo) but still keep the form protected?

  1. Having determined that Word 2011 is missing a few options that exist in Word 2010 etc.. . to do with forms creation… I had a go with my olde XP Office installation… – on my Mac. (I don’t have a later version of Office\Word for windows OS…). It too is a lacking a few options found in Word 2003, 2007, 2010 and presumably 2013. So I can’t test any of the links I’m posting here; but reading their content etc. they do appear to show how to do what you want…
