  1. In this regard there are two solutions namely: Hardware and start PC with some bootable CD/DVD tools(BIOS password removal).

For hardware: There is always a system maintenance switch on every system board through administrative tasks can be performed. This switch is always off by default and what you only need to do is to disassemble the PC and power up the main board then ON those switches for 3-5 minutes then re-assemble the PC, then the password would be removed. This is apply to Desktop only.

For the fact that the PC is a laptop: I would advice you remove the keyboard and upper casing and remove CMOS battery connection cable or you remove CBS battery depend on the system board architect and power the board without CMOS battery in place and later return it.
NOTE: Your finger must not touch the CMOS battery connecting part.

For bootable CD/DVD tools: You can get window XP 2009 Dark Edition SP2 and start the PC with it then you select an option besides install window XP 2009 Dark Edition SP2, then among the option displayed there is one for BOIS password removing.

ADVICE: I will advise you to get a CD/DVD tool for the fact that the PC is a laptop and difficult to disassemble and reassemble.

In case non workout fine which I think would work, think of replacing the hard drive and if there is data on it slave with an enclosure to recover data on the passworded disk.

    Thanks.
