I have a Dell Inspiron E1705 laptop. When I booted up, I got the following message:”Quickset: quickset.exe – Application error.” The computer stopped; I clicked “OK” and then the start-up continued.
I did some research and found out that the Quickset file most likely has become corrupted. How is this problem resolved?
Thank you.

1. Quickset-exe-OD149022.pf at C:\Windows\Prefetch
2. Quickset at C:\ProgramFiles\Dell\Quickset”
Yep, that is legit & as already mentioned, all you have to do is remove the shortcut link in your Startup folder or use CCleaner. > Tools > Startup.
CCleaner ( This is a slim version that doesn’t install the Yahoo toolbar )
