Comment: Hey Justin, I just received an e-mail stating that someone sent me a private message on computing.net. I went to my Private Message Center, and found nothing. I've checked using 2 PCs. Is there something wrong with computing.net? Just thought I'd report it in case you didn't know about it. If the earth was created by a big bang, how come my car or computer or anything else isn't created the same way?

Reply: (edit)Rayburn I have accidently hit enter when writing a private message. That will send a blank message if the name has been entered. In work processing programs hitting enter just takes you to the next line. Maybe that is what happened to you.

Reply: (edit)Yeah perhaps someone just hit the enter button. I just wondered if someone tried to send something but failed to receive it. If the earth was created by a big bang, how come my car or computer or anything else isn't created the same way?

Reply: (edit)Rayburn, The same thing happened to me a few times recently(about a week or two ago), but it has since stopped. I don't think that I was mistakenly hitting "enter".

Reply: (edit)Hey, Even a private message that contains a blank body would still appear in the private message list. It would just show up as "So and So sent you a message" but there would be no message there. Justin

Reply: (edit)Hi, Did anyone who saw this problem ever have another account with the site that might have had the same email associated with it? I was just thinking that maybe the message could have been sent to a different account. Justin
