When I recieved this PC as I stated it had several music videos pre-installed ,none of them will run I recieve the same error on all of these. Iam not sure when this started ,I dont really use the PC for music very much ! Dear Jennifer ,
I do not mind being told to try a google search ! You where correct that there are many links in a google search reguarding this problem ,so your advice was sound. Plus the way you told me was polite and not rude and arrogant, or talking down to someone . I think we can all guess who that would be ?

Thank You Very Much , Nick

"I do not mind being told to try a google search !"

The message is the same whether it's delivered politely or harshly.

I'd have no problem with you if you'd say something like, "I tried google & searching the Microsoft Knowledge Base but I haven't been able to find an answer, can someone help?" But it doesn't seem like you're willing to make the effort.

Jennifer took the exact error message that you posted ("Secure storage protection error. Restore your licenses from a previous backup and try again"), plugged it into google & had an answer in 0.13 seconds. Why is it that you couldn't have done that for yourself?

"And that's the fishing line, because Sharkboy said so!"
