laptop won't start after my boss installed a new 40gig hard drive. To my knowledge it worked fine before. He thinks it needs a bios patch to compensate for the larger drive. If this is it, where would i find that??? this is what it does is: starts to boot then freezes right after the ram count and proceeds to do nothing, i can't go into setup, it won't boot from a floppy or a cd. Any suggestions? thanks

Go to the Harddrive Manufactures web site and down load the drive overlay program to let your BIOS recognize larger hard drives.
