I recently got a message from Norton Internet alert that it had blocked an intrusion attempt. My internet slowed down and looking at the Norton statistics I was constantly being attacked by the same IP address at 1 to 5 second intervals until I was no longer able to view web pages or go on MSN.
A friend of mine suggested that I format my computer thinking I may have a virus on my computer but the same intruder (that has my IP address) is still attacking me. When I use my computer in other places such as the library and coffee shops, I donnot have this problem. I can't come up with any thing to fix this problem.

I considered maybe it has something to do with my router but other members of my family who are on the same network are not have this problem. I've used Norton Antivirus to scan, TrendMicro's online house call scan as well to check for viruses, spyware etc and found nothing. If any one has any ideas on how I can solve this problem, please let me know.

Greatly appreicated,

Cravis
