The scanner had worked well since 2009. About mid-April 2012 I, I received and continue to receive the message &#8220;Canon MP navigator EX 2.1&#8230; has stopped working&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Delving through the net, I find that the problem has existed elsewhere for years. I have tried several remedies found on the net, including the easy one of contacting Canon support. No luck yet. Twice, after trying a remedy, the scanner page has displayed briefly and then the &#8220;has stopped working&#8221; messge comes up. Several sources on the net point to the TWAIN_32 folder as a possible source of the problem.
