What is it and how can I make it stop?

The green bar is at the very bottom of the monitor, underneath the icons in the taskbar. It extends along the entire bottom of the monitor, and blinks every 2 or 3 seconds. I’ve contacted BestBuy Geek Squad, who took over control of my computer and could not see the blinking green bar. Another agent at the Geek Squad was consulted and his answer was there was an LCD control issue and to take it to the store. The store just told me they do not repair monitors there, period. I can’t take a pic or link you to the bar, unless I use my camera and catch the flash and then send you a pic by attachment. But the description is very clear: Green bar extending along the bottom of the the monitor, under the task bar, blinking every couple of seconds. Not visible if someone takes over the computer. – any suggestions will be welcome, but it sounds like I need to repair or replace this monitor ;:~(

[75

post-9050","question","type-question","status-publish","hentry","question-category-windows-vista
["GET
