The popup says my version of windows may be counterfeit and I may be a victim of counterfeit. I bought my computer at walmart and know its not counterfeit, most likely it is because of a download that I didnt need way back at some point. I dont know how to reverse it. I remember downloading something for 64bit. I dont think I understood what I was downloading but unfortunatly I think it changed something. I cant get windows updates anymore and it keeps telling me im counterfeit and that I need to go to a website and buy windows 7 for 99.00 and the problem will be fixed. I dont understand how my desktop could just disappear and why I have to pay for something I should already have, the computer had it when I bought it. Could someone please tell me what I may need to do or what happened because this issue really has me baffled!
