When I turn on my PC the second monitor works (mirroring, not extending). But as soon as it goes to the desktop (completly started up), only my first monitor works and my second monitor is turned on but doesn’t show anything. When I go to the general settings of display he gives me two monitors (“1. Goldstar company ltd 15” and “digital display”) but i can’t choose an option to extend or mirror my screen. (and I think he doesn’t recognize my second monitor otherwise he should give me the same name (Goldstar..), right?) Then I installed/updated my nvidia drivers (beacause i didn’t have the “NVIDIA x server settings”) after doing that I miss the option “X server display configuration” in the NVIDIA x server settings . I connected my first monitor in the vga port and my second monitor in the dvi port. If I type xrandr in the command prompt i get

“xrandr
Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 1024 x 768, maximum 4096 x 4096
VGA-0 connected primary 1024×768+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 304mm x 228mm
1024×768 75.08 75.03 70.07 60.00*
832×624 74.55
800×600 72.19 75.00 60.32 56.25
640×480 75.00 72.81 66.67 60.00
720×400 70.08
DVI-0 connected 1024×768+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 0mm x 0mm
1024×768 60.00*
800×600 60.32 56.25
848×480 60.00
640×480 59.94
S-video disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)”

I don’t know what this means?
Does anyone have an idea what I can do?

[58

post-7987","question","type-question","status-publish","hentry","question-category-linux
["GET
