This also happened when I tried to install on my laptop. The install cd is new with no scratches so I am stumped. Need Urgent Answer!<\/p>\n
I first tried to install it on my laptop by booting the setup via FreeDos and partiton via gParted. Now, I do not think my install cd is OSR2, because it does not state that, and it only says “Now with USB Support…”. The error was when I was prompted to restart at end, when I clicked the restart button at the end of the installation, it failed and got the I\/o error. Then i tried restarting normally, same I\/o error. Now this is exactly the same that happened in VirtualBox. Its a pattern…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":5,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"inline_featured_image":false,"iawp_total_views":5},"question-category":[47],"question_tags":[],"class_list":["post-7972","question","type-question","status-publish","hentry","question-category-hardware"],"jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/question\/7972","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/question"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/question"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/5"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=7972"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=7972"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"question-category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/question-category?post=7972"},{"taxonomy":"question_tags","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/question_tags?post=7972"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
