It is just a black strip that I can’t shift the screen to cover.

I run at 1680×1050 (native) and have since I bought it, I began to have problems and usually the “refresh” button fixed it. Over the last 6 months nothing I do will fix it, and it’s getting on my nerves. Today I did further testing and noticed that if I shift the resolution to 1440×900 it fits the full screen perfectly, but if I change the refresh rate to 75hz in the later, it goes back to broke. This leads me to assume that the problem isn’t with the monitor but maybe software or some setting.

I have tried to manually shift the monitor (using the buttons on the bottom) and through the nvidia panel but all it does is move the portion I can see and hides it behind the black 15% on the right. It doesn’t replace the black space just looks like it goes behind it.

I was wondering if anyone could offer input as to how to go about fixing this.

Thank you,
Dtool

[47

post-7101","question","type-question","status-publish","hentry","question-category-hardware
["GET
