I installed it in my ASUS M3A78-EM motherboard. I have 4GB DDR2 ram at 335mhz frequency. My motherboard should be compatible as it this CPU is in the support list and I downloaded the right BIOS version (2401).
I run windows xp (32-bit) home edition. FSB:DRAM is 3:5.

When I ran CPU-Z, I noticed that only 1 core was active. My computer didnt get any faster too, I still cant play black ops for example although I easily meet the system requirements.

http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.p…

How can this happen? Is my computer power supply too low?

I only have DDR2 333… Does this make me unable to use all 6 cores?

Can and should I make it run faster?

EDIT:

According to the ASUS website my motherboard doesnt support DDR2 333. But I have been using this memory for over 2 years now.

[44

post-7038","question","type-question","status-publish","hentry","question-category-cpus
["GET
