A new build (my 2nd)
\nBios does not detect Sata (sata 2 and 3)hard drives nor optical drives.
\nMemory and USB devices are detected<\/p>\n
Some of the things I have tried:
\n– many Bios changes- Ide Raid Ahci, controllers, etc etc have been tried
\n– reset Cmos
\n– updated bios firmware to latest
\n– Windows 7 x64 instal per USB. Result Win will not detect HDD nor Optical Drives and won’t instal
\n– tried one sata device (sata 2 and Sata 3) at a time and have exchanged sata cables. Have tried several of the sata inputs(2 Sata 3 and 6 Sata 2 inputs)
\n– tried different hard drives and optical drives
\n– power to sata devices seems OK
\n– awaiting response from Asus (motherboard)<\/p>\n
Help would be appreciated greatly<\/p>\n
