I recently moved and we have an external garage roughly 200 feet away from the router in the vinyl siding house unfortunately even with my apple router airport extreme 802.11n (model A1354) placed by the window in the office, the garage attached to the house prevents a clear line of sight to the external garage. I would like to extend my wifi coverage to the external vinyl siding garage some 200 ft away strong enough to be able to do gaming online on my playstation 4. wifi for the whole garage would be great also so our other devices could work out there as well but the ps4 is the most important thing right now and I could live without wifi throughout the house. my questions are what are my options? I cant do much physical labor and I don’t want to spend over $200-300. I am clueless when it comes to this stuff and have yet to speak with anyone that seems to know what to do. this includes a tech that works at my ISP.
\nis my apple router going to have to be replaced? its a great router but it has no antennas on it. very occasionally my iPhone will pick up the router signal out there but it doesn’t stay and its definitely too weak to do anything with. thanks in advance and I appreciate the reply in advance.<\/p>\n
