When I connect it via USB to my Panasonic Viera Tv Model TH-L42ET60A, it says there are no supported file types on the drive. How can I fix this? Thankyou<\/p>\n
The files on the drive are all supported by the tv. The drive was NTFS when I got it, so I tried to format it using Windows8 and the only other option I got was ex-FAT. I’m thinking that is the problem, but I don’t know how to make it FAT32 when the computer doesn’t give me that option. I have EaseUS Partition, so I’m going to try partitioning it and hoping that will also give me a FAT32 option. What do you think?
\nYes the drive turns on. The tv supports USB 2.0 but I’m not sure how to find out what size cable the external drive has. Any ideas?
\nPS The drive was given to me, so I don’t have any of the paperwork that would’ve come with it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":5,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"inline_featured_image":false,"iawp_total_views":16},"question-category":[47],"question_tags":[],"class_list":["post-5743","question","type-question","status-publish","hentry","question-category-hardware"],"jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/question\/5743","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/question"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/question"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/5"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=5743"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=5743"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"question-category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/question-category?post=5743"},{"taxonomy":"question_tags","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/question_tags?post=5743"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
