{"id":5020,"date":"2021-11-15T01:24:14","date_gmt":"2021-11-15T01:24:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lgildv5i97.onrocket.site\/answers\/?post_type=question&#038;p=5020"},"modified":"2021-11-15T01:24:36","modified_gmt":"2021-11-15T01:24:36","slug":"solved-lag-spikes-in-every-game","status":"publish","type":"question","link":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/hardware\/lag-spikes-in-every-game\/86897.html","title":{"rendered":"Solved Lag Spikes in Every Game"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m suffering from a quite weird problem,<br \/>\nAlready since my I got my new PC (Since end April this year) I got lag spikes in almost every game (except in very light games).<br \/>\nIt doesn&#8217;t matter if it is an online game, or just offline.<\/p>\n<p>The lag games up after every serveral minute(s), and the duration of the lags are like 10 to 20 seconds long,<br \/>\nThe frames per second from frop 60 to 8-15fps.<\/p>\n<p>While the lag spike is starting, the temperature of both CPU and GPU is fine.<br \/>\nThe CPU usage of the games raises like 10-20%, and the overall CPU usage is like 70-80%.<br \/>\nThe GPU usage drops from 95 to 20%.<\/p>\n<p>I also tried to use another HDD, with 7200RPM, that should be fine in my opinion.<br \/>\nAnd I tried to update my GPU drivers too, but that didn&#8217;t make sense too.<\/p>\n<p>Here are my specs:<\/p>\n<p>Power supply: Corsair CMPSU-600CX V2<br \/>\nMotherboard: ASRock 970 Extreme3<br \/>\nCPU: AMD FX-8150 (8-core) @ 3600 MHz<br \/>\nCPU Fan: Cooler Master Hyper212 Evo<br \/>\nGPU: Asus ENGTX560 Ti DCII TOP\/2DI\/1GD5<br \/>\nRAM: Corsair 8 GB DDR3-1600<\/p>\n<p>This computer should be able to run games like GTA IV, Battlefield 3, ArmA II, Max Payne 3 etc without problems, but I&#8217;m suffering from lag spikes with all these games.<\/p>\n<p>I hope someone has some advice for me.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks in advance!<br \/>\nJoshoon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"inline_featured_image":false,"iawp_total_views":2},"question-category":[47],"question_tags":[],"class_list":["post-5020","question","type-question","status-publish","hentry","question-category-hardware"],"jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/question\/5020","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/question"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/question"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=5020"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=5020"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"question-category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/question-category?post=5020"},{"taxonomy":"question_tags","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/question_tags?post=5020"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
