I’ve been checking on the forum but none of the other power saving mode problem seems to be similiar to mine. Please bear with my long description as I don’t want to miss out any details. Ok here goes..

I recently just swapped the monitors between 2 of my cpus. One of the monitor is an old Samsung one while the other is a rather new Lenovo one. Initially, the Samsung is connected to the my own cpu but i swapped it with the Lenovo which was connected to my dad’s cpu. Everything worked fine. However after I tried swapping back, the Samsung was working fine on my cpu again while the Lenovo could not work on my dad’s cpu. It kept saying “Power Saving Mode”. The cpu starts up just fine as the fan and the windows vista sound can all be heard. My speakers and everything else is working fine as well.

I tried swapping again the Samsung to my dad’s and the Lenovo back to mine but to no avail. I swapped once more with the Samsung back to mine but now the Samsung doesn’t work even on my own CPU. I’m really running out of ideas does anyone have any ideas?

Btw, I did the swapping without switching off the cpu. Does it affect in anyway?

[47

post-4871","question","type-question","status-publish","hentry","question-category-hardware
["GET
