Having issues on my older CNC machine.
\nTrying to resurrect it and keep having issues.<\/p>\n
I cannot figure out how to reformat a new hard drive with all the old software so everything communicates correctly between the controller and robot.<\/p>\n
I have a boot disk.
\nI have all the original software and drivers on another hard drive.<\/p>\n
After 2.5 days of trying to configure it I seem like I am no further than when I started other than a bunch of software sitting on a hard drive not even coming close to communicating with the robot.<\/p>\n
So…I am back to trying to bring my old hard drive back to life long enough to clone the drive once I get it running. If I can.<\/p>\n
Current issue is .\\iosubsys sub directory is corrupt.<\/p>\n
Can I just copy something from another win98 hard drive and paste into this one?<\/p>\n

Had an issue and my operator hard shut off the machine. 6 or 7 times!!!!<\/p>\n
When scandisk was done there was a bad sector.<\/p>\n
The system folder looks suspicisially empty. In the system folder on the new HD I tried to load all the old software one there is considerably more folders and files. Now I know this doesn’t necessarily mean anything but figured I would mention it.<\/p>\n
The first error was the system\/VMM32\/IFSMGR.VXD folder was missing but the file IFSMGR was in the system folder. IT is in the folder on the new HD.<\/p>\n
I copied the VMM32 folder from the new HD to the old HD and it did not have the same error.<\/p>\n
