I have used my HP D1400 printer a number of times with no problems. Now, there is a blinking light on the printer that won&#8217;t stop!<br \/>\nI&#8217;ve done this: pulled both plugs from the back of the printer, waited a minute and replaced them&#8230;.<br \/>\n*Turned off the power strip, then on<br \/>\n* Checked to see if this printer was default, it was<br \/>\n*Downloaded testing for the printer and no problems were found.<br \/>\n*Removed both ink cartridges and replaced them w\/those removed.<br \/>\n*Removed the back of the printer and blew in it even though there was no dust, etc.<br \/>\n*Installed updates<br \/>\n*Checked troubleshooting with HP&#8230;.no help<br \/>\n*Did the Recovery process<br \/>\n*Tried others suggestions re: same problem<br \/>\n*Checked printer status and it was fine<br \/>\n*Tried printing something, printer read: &#8216;ready to print&#8217; Yet nothing happened. Light flashing<br \/>\n*No paper jam<br \/>\n*Attempted more but nothing works. It&#8217;s probably a simple solution but I&#8217;ve tried &#8216;simple&#8217; I suppose I can just buy a new printer but I have unopened new ink cartridges both black and color and don&#8217;t want to toss them, as they no longer be returned.
