The computer is on when doing this and I tested my monitor on another computer to see if the same problem persisted, it did not. This makes me assume there’s a problem with the computer I am using, but it could be something else I’m unaware of.

The second problem is that my computer’s (the same in the above situation that the monitor wouldn’t work with) fan seems to be spinning too fast. I looked it up to see why and a lot of what i found seems to attribute it to overheating, but my computer doesn’t feel heated/overheated. Others have said it could also be dust, but the computer is spotless. Other than that, I couldn’t seem to find any helpful information.

I am in no way a computer expert, I’m novice at best so I could really utilize some assistance with the situation I am currently in. If there is any more information you need to assist me with my problem, I will do what I can to provide it.

[44

post-4256","question","type-question","status-publish","hentry","question-category-cpus
["GET
