For the last two days there has been a faint horizontal line across the bottom of my laptop screen. First I thought image permanence, but no! Tonight I realized instead that what was flashing at the bottom of my screen was what I could see at the top1\/8 inch of my screen. i.e, I’m seeing the top sliver of all of the icons sitting at the top of my desktop. What in the world is going on here? I can’t figure it out. This happened after I looked back at my screen and my taskbar had shifted to the right side of the screen. I easily replaced it at the bottom but then it was obstructed by this line and flashing image.
