I do not have a Toshiba Hardware utility on this particular laptop, as has been suggested I can access the BIOS through. Computer seems to always boot straight into Win 10 startup screen, without displaying Toshiba logo as suggested should happen, even after having been shut down using power option in Start menu, so I am positive it is not simply going to sleep. Only way I can seem to boot from CD is to physically remove the SSD, which obviously is not a sustainable solution. Has been recently upgraded from Win 7 Pro to Windows 10. Machine is infrequently used, so unsure if upgrade has directly affected this. I am planning on using this as a Linux machine for a few tasks, but as it belongs to the boss, I need to be able to easily return it to original state, preferably by running off a live CD. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"inline_featured_image":false,"iawp_total_views":36},"question-category":[47],"question_tags":[],"class_list":["post-2588","question","type-question","status-publish","hentry","question-category-hardware"],"jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/question\/2588","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/question"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/question"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=2588"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=2588"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"question-category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/question-category?post=2588"},{"taxonomy":"question_tags","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/question_tags?post=2588"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
