{"id":2298,"date":"2021-10-28T00:44:01","date_gmt":"2021-10-28T00:44:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lgildv5i97.onrocket.site\/answers\/?post_type=question&#038;p=2298"},"modified":"2021-10-28T00:44:33","modified_gmt":"2021-10-28T00:44:33","slug":"sum-if-is-double-counting","status":"publish","type":"question","link":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/office\/sum-if-is-double-counting\/12723.html","title":{"rendered":"Sum If Is Double Counting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hi<\/p>\n<p>I have never come across this before and cannot work it out.<\/p>\n<p>I have a range of data:<br \/>\nA B C D<br \/>\nCategory Oct-10 Nov-10 Dec-10<br \/>\n1 Production 10 10 10<br \/>\n2 Selling 2 2 2<br \/>\n3 Markeeting 1 1 1<\/p>\n<p>When I do a sumif as follows =sumif($a$1:$d$3,$a1,B;B) so that the range is absolute, the criteria is always from column a and the sum column moves across one each time I am getting a double count.
