{"id":2153,"date":"2021-10-27T14:34:22","date_gmt":"2021-10-27T14:34:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lgildv5i97.onrocket.site\/answers\/?post_type=question&#038;p=2153"},"modified":"2021-10-27T14:34:52","modified_gmt":"2021-10-27T14:34:52","slug":"alternative-to-hp-solution-center-software","status":"publish","type":"question","link":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/hardware\/alternative-to-hp-solution-center-software\/68877.html","title":{"rendered":"Alternative To HP Solution Center Software"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I wanted to ask if there are any alternative softwares than Digital Image Monitor or HP Solution Center to manage the scanner part of my HP J6480.<\/p>\n<p>My issue with the Digital Image Monitor is that it slows down my entire system, and causes errors when I try to shut down the computer.<\/p>\n<p>My issue with HP Solution Center is that it requires so many prompts that it takes forever to scan and doesn&#8217;t save brightness settings. I start up the Solution Center. Then I hit Scan. Then I have to tell it to show a Preview since it always messes up the brightness. Then I tell I tell it start. Then I have to tell it there are no many pages. Then I have to adjust the black\/white threshold for every page. Finally it sends it to a PDF file.<\/p>\n<p>My wife has been having some medical problems and I scan in all her records so I can E-mail them to doctors.
