{"id":1767,"date":"2021-10-25T13:32:10","date_gmt":"2021-10-25T13:32:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lgildv5i97.onrocket.site\/answers\/?post_type=question&#038;p=1767"},"modified":"2021-10-25T13:33:08","modified_gmt":"2021-10-25T13:33:08","slug":"the-firmware-has-detected-that-a-cmos-battery-failure","status":"publish","type":"question","link":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/hardware\/the-firmware-has-detected-that-a-cmos-battery-failure\/85123.html","title":{"rendered":"The Firmware Has Detected That a CMOS Battery Failure &#8230;.."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When I plug my PC to the electricity.it&#8217;s power button light on for 2 seconds and off it and light on it again<br \/>\nfor 2 seconds and off before I switch on. when I switch on the PC it&#8217;s BIOS screen says<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The firmware has detected that a CMOS battery failure occured. press the enter to continue&#8221;<br \/>\nafter pressing enter it&#8217;s says<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The firmware has detected that a CMOS checksum error occourd.press the enter to continue&#8221;<br \/>\nafter pressing enter again and it&#8217;s says<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The firmware has detected that the system date\/ time has not been set.press the enter to continue&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>after log on by pressing enter then my date is set as 01\/01\/2006 and time set as 12.00AM<br \/>\nthere for every time after log on I have to set the correct date and time.<\/p>\n<p>I changed BIOS as default setting and replace a new CMOS battery and update BIOS . also I reset BIOS jumper but nothing happend.<\/p>\n<p>then I changed my power supply unit and plugged it to the electricity but result is same.<\/p>\n<p>I think there is some fault in my mother board.
