I am trying to help my mother who only god knows what she did, fix her laptop. I have the recovery disk, but they won&#8217;t load. Laptop is 5 years old but to her its &#8220;new&#8221;. We called toshiba and they have it registered to her and everything but said she had to take it for repair. Its a $200 at best laptop. I told her get a new one, but she wants to fix this &#8220;barely used&#8221; one of hers.
