Never had any major problems, but this morning when I booted up, on my desktop a big box popped up labeled “Machine Debug Manager”. Near the bottom of the box, under several lines of information, is a small “OK” box. Not knowing what any of this is, I didn’t click “OK”. Just clicked the small “x” at the upper right corner to close the box. Everything seems to be running ok.

I read elsewhere this has something to do with script debugging, but that it’s ok to disable it bu going to Internet Options, clicking the advanced tab and selecting disable script debugging. I haven’t tried it because another site said in some cases it could be a virus and had a link to click to check the PC. I wasn’t about to do that and risk downloading a virus.

Is it safe to disable Machine Debug Manager? Why did this suddenly pop up on my PC. It has never shown up before today.

[76

post-15518","question","type-question","status-publish","hentry","question-category-windows-xp
["GET
