This has been troubling for quite some time as I’ve failed to burn the disc after so many attempts. The disc I used was CD-R and everytime I tried to open the cd two options were given : either “use it like a usb flash drive” or “with a CD\/DVD player”. Which one should I choose ? I looked up in the internet and many suggested choosing “with a CD\/DVD player”<\/p>\n
This is the first time I tried burning something into a CD and I have no idea how and where to start with.<\/p>\n
The following were my attempted actions:
\n1. Chose “use it like a usb flash drive” but the windows failed to format it.<\/p>\n
2. Chose “with a CD\/DVD player” and
\n– drag my 6mb video file into it and right click on the empty space then chose ‘burn to disc”
\nRESULT: Received a message saying ” There was an error burning this disc. The disc might no longer be usable”
\n*Tried it with several same new discs but same result yieled.<\/p>\n
3. Chose “with a CD\/DVD player” and
\n– opened up my ashampoo burning studio 2008 and chose “burn file and folders >create a new cd\/dvd disc” and added my video into it and “next” all the way
\nResult: Data record burned successfully! But, still an empty disc after a check.<\/p>\n
What am I gonna do!?
