{"id":13677,"date":"2021-12-13T14:14:42","date_gmt":"2021-12-13T14:14:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lgildv5i97.onrocket.site\/answers\/?post_type=question&#038;p=13677"},"modified":"2021-12-13T14:15:14","modified_gmt":"2021-12-13T14:15:14","slug":"solved-100-cpu-usage","status":"publish","type":"question","link":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/cpus\/100-cpu-usage\/16574.html","title":{"rendered":"Solved 100% CPU Usage!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well&#8230;.. my cpu usage goes up to 100% whenever I open anything, explorer or fire fox or when I try to install a program<\/p>\n<p>that&#8217;s my pc<\/p>\n<p>Processor : Inter(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz 3.00 GHz<br \/>\nInstalled memory : 4.00 GB<br \/>\nDisplay adapter : Nvidia Geforce 8400 GS<\/p>\n<p>I tried the next. but didn&#8217;t succeed to solve the problem:<\/p>\n<p>1- performed an virus scan using kaspersky and Avira.<br \/>\n2- performed spyware scan using spyware doctor.<br \/>\n3- performed malware scan using Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.<br \/>\n4- reinstalled the OS several times ( tried windows seven ultimate 64 and 32 bit and windows xp sp3 32 bit ).<br \/>\n5- formatted my hard disk then installed a fresh copy of windows.<br \/>\n6- checked the CPU temperature and made sure it&#8217;s fine.<br \/>\n7- tried removing one of my 2 rams.<br \/>\n8- tried working with the build-in VGA card instead of the nvidia one.<br \/>\n9- tried restoring the BIOS default setting.<br \/>\n10- even tried changing the processor itself ( but with an older one ).<br \/>\n11- and of course tried to see which progress sucks up the cpu usage, and the result is that every program I open gets 90 to 100 % of the cpu usage!<\/p>\n<p>and yet I couldn&#8217;t solve this problem.<\/p>\n<p>wonder if any of u can help me<\/p>\n<p>thanks in advance<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"inline_featured_image":false,"iawp_total_views":13},"question-category":[44],"question_tags":[],"class_list":["post-13677","question","type-question","status-publish","hentry","question-category-cpus"],"jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/question\/13677","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/question"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/question"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=13677"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=13677"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"question-category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/question-category?post=13677"},{"taxonomy":"question_tags","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/computing.net\/answers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/question_tags?post=13677"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
