Unfortunately none of the electronics stores around here sell the exact model of the one that died so had to settle for a Western Digital that has 200 gigs less room than the original. At the same time I also purchased the Media Recovery Disks for it as well. Once they arrived I then swapped out the HDD, Put Disk 1 of 3 of the Recovery disks into the optic drive, powered it on and after a few minutes of &#8220;Windows is loading the files&#8221; nonsense. a window pops up saying:<\/p>\n<p>&lt;Error&gt;<\/p>\n<p>An error has occurred.<\/p>\n<p>ERROR : F3-F100-0003<\/p>\n<p>An error has occured.<br \/>\nPlease press [OK] to turn off the computer.<\/p>\n<p>Now thats all fine and great except that it doesn&#8217;t tell me squat in terms of how to fix this F3-F100-0003 ordeal.
